Hunting Area: Kamniker Alps
The hunting area is approximately 20 to 40 miles from Ljubljana airport.  The hunt is mostly done by stalking at elevations of 6,000 to 9,000 feet.  The hunting is relatively easy in parts of the hunting area where the roads reach the higher points of the mountains.  Other parts of the territory can be difficult to hunt with shots up to 300 yards.  Because the Chamois population is excellent, the success rate is nearly 100%.  The average trophy size is 90 to 105 CIC points.  Lodging is in a house or small hotel in the area.
