GAME: MUSKOX and REINDEER

Hunting Area: Kangerlussuaq
The main hunting area is only a few miles from Kangerlussuaq airport.  The main game is the Muskox which can be hunted in either summer or winter conditions.  In the winter, the hunt is conducted by dog sled or 4 x 4 cars and in the summer, by boat and stalking.  Reindeer can be added on a late summer hunt and involves fly camps due to the migration.  Included in the itinerary following your successful hunt is a tour of the Ice-cap which should not be missed.  Lodging is in excellent tents in the hunting area or in a simple hotel in Kangerlussuaq depending on the hunt.
